This "easy" and effective added ingredient is both effortless and a real game-changer when it comes to a salmon meal.

According to , the recipe is "simple"and requires you to "bake at 400F for 10 minutes" with her simple ingredient added to salmon being none other than bagel seasoning.

The nutritionist, Amy Fox added: "My go-to salmon prep is easy to put on the table in 10 min.

"Sprinkle a heavy dose of Everything Bagel seasoning on your salmon," she said, which is said to completely transform the fish dish, adding a delicious twist to how you can enjoy your salmon.

The expert concluded this simple recipe adding to "finish on broil until you've got a nice crust".

Bagel seasoning can also be used on other dishes according to the expert, advising her tips to try it on "eggs, avocado toast, cottage cheese, and chicken".

Advocating the many nutritious benefits of having a diet rich in salmon, the food guru added: "As I'm sure you know, salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

"Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids can improve your cardiovascular health among many other things.

"Benefits of including omega-3 fatty acids in your diet include reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, lowering triglycerides, increasing HDL (the "good" cholesterol), reducing inflammation and lowering blood pressure".

Other salmon meal alternative ingredients to be added to elevate your dish includes cream cheese or even chopped onion.

According to the recipe requires simple steps of only mixing cream cheese, parsley, minced garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl and then spreading this mix over the salmon fillets.

The results are a far creamier salmon with the option of adding a sprinkle of chopped onion evenly over the cream cheese for a slight crunchier texture.
