'Powerful' pressure washer that 'cleans car in minutes' now less than £50

Pressure washers are an incredibly useful gadget, with them effectively cleaning cars, patios, windows, garden furniture and more. Shopping marketplace Yimbly (owned by the Daily Express parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering the popular Garden Force Jet Hawk Cordless Portable Pressure Washer on sale for £54.99, down from £69.99, but our readers can snap it up for even less.

This brings the overall cost down to £49.49, providing a decent saving of £20.50. The cordless pressure washer has a 6-in-1 multi-nozzle, giving full control of the spray pattern, pressure, power and flow speed.

The Garden Force Jet Hawk Cordless Portable Pressure Washer doesn't require a power source or extension lead, and an outdoor tap isn't needed either. This is because the tool's water syphoning technology means any water source can be used, whether it's a bucket or washing up bowl.

The gadget's high capacity battery provides 45 minutes of pressure washing which is plenty of time to get items looking spick and span. The tool claims to be five times more powerful than a standard garden hose, and has a fine mesh filter to keep whatever is being cleaned - and the pressure washer itself - protected from any surrounding debris.

For shoppers wanting to explore other cleaning tools, Amazon is selling a Cordless Pressure Washer for £67.99. This compact tool also has a 6-in-1 nozzle offering multiple spray options.

Alternatively, B&Q has a Rechargeable Power Washer costing £99.99. This option offers 'impressive portable cleaning', however it only provides 20-minutes runtime, less than the Garden Force Jet Hawk Cordless Portable Pressure Washer.

Over 60 Yimbly customers have reviewed the pressure washer, with one impressed buyer saying: "Brilliant, light, and easy to connect. Turn it on and the dirt comes rolling off, the whole car is cleaned in minutes. It's especially good around tyres. Very good value. Recommend it to everyone."

Someone else commented: "Very well made piece of kit which comes in a handy carry case. Great for cleaning the caravan and car on site away from home. You just need a container of water and usual soap and away you go. The kit even has a filter in case of obstruction to the in port. Powerful enough to blast away mud and great for wheels. Very pleased."

Unfortunately a couple of buyers found the Garden Force Jet Hawk Cordless Portable Pressure Washer to be 'not as powerful' as they expected. One person noted: "Not strong enough to clean the patio."

Someone else said: "Works quite well, but soon uses up a bucket of water. Pressure is not as strong as I expected for patio cleaning, but strong enough for car cleaning etc."

However, another shopper disagrees, as their five-star review reads: "Very pleased with this purchase. It has cleaned the car, the patio and the windows. A good all round product."
