Frasier star Kelsey Grammer has welcomed his eighth child with his fourth wife. The on-screen legend, 70, and his partner, Kayte, announced the arrival of their third child together, a baby boy. Kelsey and Kayte have been married for 14 years and are also parents to Faith, 13, Kelsey Gabriel, 11 and Auden James, eight.
Speaking on the Pod Meets World podcast this week, Kelsey revealed: "Just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids!"
He revealed the couple had named their newborn son Christopher.
The actor is now a dad-of-eight. His eldest child, Spencer, 42, is from his first marriage to actress Doreen Alderman, and Greer, 33, with make up artist, Barrie Buckner.
Kelsey shares his adult children Mason, 24, and Jude 21, with his third wife and former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Meyer.
The former couple called it quits in February 2011 after 13 years of marriage.
Kelsey met his first wife Kayte in 2009 when she was working as a flight attendant on a London-bound flight.
They got engaged in December 2010 and married in New York in February 2011, just two days after his divorce from Camille was finalised.
Kelsey spoke to People Magazine about being a father, admitting: "I have neglected a couple of the kids in my life, especially the first two.
"I'm trying to make up for a little of it now. I'm still their dad, so you can always have a chance to show up."
He continued: "'I probably should have been a little more clear and maybe less tolerant with the older ones.
"With the young ones, I'm specific about expectations - do your studies, be prepared. I tell them, "What's your job in life? Showing up."
