M1 crash LIVE: Major road closed with 'all traffic held' for miles

Drivers are facing long delays on the M1 after a major crash between Wakefield and Huddersfield in Yorkshire.

M1 traffic is currently held following a major crash between Wakefield and Huddersfield.

There are long delays between J39 A636 Denby Dale Road (Wakefield / Durkar) and J38 A637 Huddersfield Road (Woolley / Huddersfield). Junction 39 entry slip road heading southbound is also shut "following the accident on the main stretch".
