Leeds United are intensifying their search for a new left-back, with Wolves' Hugo Bueno now reportedly on their radar. The Whites are in the market for a replacement for Junior Firpo, who recently returned to his former club Real Betis on a free transfer after helping Leeds secure Championship glory.
Leeds have also shown interest in Aston Villa's Alex Moreno, who spent the previous season on loan at Nottingham Forest, and Atletico Madrid's Reinildo Mandava, who is expected to become a free agent following the Club World Cup.
However, Leeds, under the stewardship of Daniel Farke, are also eyeing up Spain U21 international Bueno, according to the Mirror. There's hope that Wolves might be open to selling, despite the recent departure of Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester City.
Bueno has just returned to Molineux after a season-long loan stint with Feyenoord in Holland, but his future with the Black Country club remains uncertain.
Feyenoord, the Dutch heavyweights, are keen on securing Bueno on a permanent basis, provided the price is right, following his promising yet injury-plagued spell in Rotterdam.
