Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning more "TV projects very soon", it has emerged. A source said the Sussexes won't be dumped by streaming giant Netflix after their £75 million contract ends, despite the mixed success of their projects. The couple signed the multi-million-pound deal with the streaming giant after stepping back from their royal roles in 2020 - with their 2022 docu-series 'Harry and Meghan' arguably the only successful project released through the partnership.
While the lacklustre response to productions including Harry's polo series and Meghan's critically-panned cooking show can't have inspired confidence in Netflix executives, they're not planning to drop the Sussexes entirely when the deal expires in September, an insider says. The £75 million exclusive deal won't be renewed by the streamer, but a different "first-look" TV contract could be on the cards, Page Six reports. "There are more TV projects coming soon with both the Duke and Duchess," a source told the US news outlet.
