Gogglebox: Jenny and Lee's real-life jobs away from the show and who owns caravan

The popular Channel 4 programme Gogglebox has had many families and faces come and go over the years, with some old stars going on to become huge TV personalities. Jenny Newby and Lee Riley made their debuts in 2014 and are known for being filmed watching television in a caravan. The pair is arguably one of the most recognised duos of the show as they charm viewers each week with their friendship and witty sayings. Away from the show, the duo have been firm friends for more than two decades, first meeting when Jenny was a landlady in a pub and Lee was a visitor.

Jenny told Ireland's Big Issue Magazine: "Lee was a customer at my pub, The Crown Inn in Paull. He became a regular in 1994 and used to come in pretty much every night with his partner, and we were friends from the off."

They have both provided some iconic Gogglebox moments over the years, such as when Lee accidentally ate Jenny's face cream after mistaking it for a dip. But what does Lee do when he's not sitting on the cream sofa in the caravan?

Lee reportedly splits his time between the UK and Cyprus when the cameras aren't rolling. He shares a home in Cyprus with his partner, Steve Mail, and the couple have been together for over 30 years.

It has not been confirmed whether Lee owns the Cyprus home or just visits his partner there, but he has been pictured in a big kitchen and next to a giant swimming pool. It's also not confirmed what either of the pair does for a job as of today.

In terms of who lives in the recognisable coastal caravan in Hull, Lee is reportedly the proud owner. However, Lee and Jenny do not live together, and Jenny pops in regularly as a guest.

Jenny lives with her husband, Ray, who has never appeared on Gogglebox. She is also the matriarch of her close-knit family, and she welcomed her third great-granddaughter in August 2023.
