The 50-year-old shepherdess parted ways with husband Clive three years ago after 22 years of marriage. The couple were well-loved by fans of , who watched them and their brood grow up at Ravenseat Farm in North Yorkshire.
With Amanda now starring in 's show , she appeared on Lorraine to share how her busy life is going. However, the interview took a rather chaotic turn within moments.
Amanda asked herself as she stood holding a sweet lamb: "Why have I got nine children? Because I never set out to have nine children.
"It was never a big dream to have a big family that didn't come from anywhere.
"Believe me, there was never a sit-down moment where we said, 'Let's try and repopulate Swaledale.'"
However, she said her children keep her positive and amused during the interview. Moments later she admitted: "They run me ragged. They drive me mad."
She then said: "I haven't got anything to complain about. Well, I have, obviously, Clive for a start... Yea,h you can tell Lorraine we're in perfect f***ing harmony."
Following her outburst, the camera panned out to Clive, who was on a tractor in the background.
Amanda added: "I complain about him. I complain about the state of the houses. I complain about the kids throwing things everywhere.
"I complain about the sheep that this lamb belongs to."
