US President Donald Trump made people cringe today as he referred to his Attorney General’s looks in uncomfortable comments in a cabinet meeting today.
Trump held his cabinet meeting earlier today during which he compared Attorney General Pam Bondi’s looks to the minority leader of the United StatesSenate Chuck Schumer. "I saw this poor, stupid Chuck Schumer. The guy looks like he aged a hundred years," said Trump.
"And I don't like getting into looks," Trump added to a general laugh from his staff members. “You know, looks don't mean anything, right? When you're in politics, looks don't matter…

"Look at Pam, I would never say she was beautiful because that would be the end of my political career.” Numerous viewers who saw the footage on social media expressed immediate discomfort with his statement.
"Why is 'beautiful' the first thing that comes to Trump's mind when discussing a blonde woman who is the Attorney General of the United States of America?" one individual questioned. "What? ? You've done far worse, dude - that's just who you are - a creep," another responded, reports the Irish Star.
"Yeah, of all the bats--- crazy things he's ever said, THAT would end his political career," stated a third person. After the comments from Trump, which sparked laughter among his cabinet, Trump then referenced to “the slob of a governor you have in Illinois”.
The Illinois governor, JB Pritzker, whom Trump was referring to bit back after the comments were made. Pritzker said Trump is himself “not in good shape”. He said: “It takes one to know one on the weight question. And the president, of course, himself, is not in good shape. So, he ought to respond to that from me.”
The verbal war of words comes as Trump says he is considering federalising the national guard to be deployed on the streets of Chicago. The remark by Trump follows a day after social media users tore into Bondi, 59, over her unsettling nickname for President Trump. Multiple viewers watching the early morning press conference described it as a "creepy" manner of addressing her superior.
"If you burn a flag, you get one year in jail," Trump announced while signing the documents on August 25. Based on Will Scharf, the White House staff secretary, one of the executive orders directs the Justice Department to pursue investigations and prosecutions in flag-burning incidents when there's proof of criminal behavior.
The action occurs despite a 1989 Supreme Court decision that flag-burning counts as protected "symbolic speech" under the First Amendment. "Thank you for protecting the American flag. And we'll do that without running afoul of the First Amendment as well," Bondi said.
Nevertheless, it was the manner in which Bondi referred to Trump simply as "President," instead of saying "Mr. President" or "President Trump," that prompted viewers to flood online platforms. One viewer posted: "Why does Pam Bondi refer to Trump as president. Not Mr. President. It's creepy."
Another commented, "Every time Pam Bondi responds, calling him 'President' and not 'President Trump' or 'Mr. President.' I cringe so hard."
A third inquired, "Can someone please explain why Pam Bondi insists on referring to President Trump, when speaking to him, as 'President', and not Mr. President. It sounds disrespectful."
One critic argued that her discomfort stemmed from being in a setting that usually requires formality.
