Coronation Street's Todd and James' sinister fate 'revealed' in dark Theo scene

Coronation Street fans fear Todd Grimshaw and James Bailey could be in danger. Todd's partner,Theo Silverton, showed some concerning behaviours in tonight's episode, after James made a pass at Todd.

It's been a tough time for the pair, with arguments left, right and centre. Theo's daughter Millie is currently staying with the duo, and is secretly plotting to get her father Theo back with her mum Danielle back together. She's even gone as far as faking a pregnancy. However, things got messy in tonight's Coronation Street when she lied and told her dad, Theo, that Todd had taken her to go and get an abortion, although it became clear she was lying.

Following the drama, Todd caught up with James in the pub and they later carried on the drinking back at home. The two then got closer as James gave him a free PT session, but things took a turn when he tried to kiss Todd, who quickly backed away. "I'm sorry, I can't. I love Theo," he said, as James profusely apologised.

He then comforted James with a hug when he told him he'd find someone "a million times better than Danny," but it was in that moment that Theo walked in. James quickly scarpered as Theo later apologised to Todd for earlier, before asking him what James was doing at the house. He then admitted James had made a pass at him, which didn't go down too well with Theo.

"How about we make a deal, I'll keep Millie away from you and you keep your distance from James," he said, as Todd agreed. However, Theo wasn't keeping his distance from James at all as he warned him to stay away.

"If I ever catch you sniffing round him again, we'll be exchanging more than just words," he said.

After watching the scenes, fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to predict things taking a darker turn in Todd and Theo's relationship, as one wrote: "Yeahhhh they're totally going down the controlling route with Theo and Todd!"

A second agreed: "This Theo storyline is driving me mad. The way he treats Todd is awful. I’m sensing the insecure, controlling behaviour coming to play. He’ll be seen talking to James again and go all 'masculinity' and beat him up."

"Haven't watched #Corrie today, but I've said all along that the Todd and Theo storyline is heading the same way as Brendan and Ste in Hollyoaks. Because if it was just about giving Todd a boyfriend they could have just got him with James this feels a lot more than that!" said a third, while another agreed: "Todd & James so good. Very nearly happened. Sensing weird vibe from Theo!!!"
