Everyone wants their skin to look clean, glowing, and beautiful. But some parts of the body, such as knees, elbows, and neck often become dark and their color is not like the rest of the skin. Especially the blackness of the knees not only does not look good, but it can also reduce confidence. Many people avoid wearing short clothes or always keep their knees hidden because of this.

 

Nowadays, there are many products like skin lightening cream, lotion and bleach available in the market. But most of these products contain chemicals, which can harm your skin after some time. Therefore, if you want to get rid of the blackness of your knees, then home and natural remedies are the best and safest option. So today let us tell you some such easy and effective home remedies, with the help of which you can gradually eliminate the blackness of knees from the root.

1. Curd and gram flour pack:  Curd contains lactic acid which removes dead skin and gram flour cleans the skin. This remedy is very helpful in improving the skin tone. To make it, take 2 teaspoons of gram flour, add 1-2 teaspoons of fresh curd to it and prepare a thick paste. Apply this paste on your knees and let it dry for 20 minutes, then wash it by rubbing gently. Do this remedy 2-3 times a week. 

2. Baking soda and milk:  If you want to remove the layer of old dirt and dead skin on your knees, then using baking soda and milk can be very beneficial. To use it, mix a little milk in 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Apply this mixture on your knees and scrub gently, then wash it with water after 10 minutes. Do not do this more than twice a week because excessive use can make the skin dry. 

3. Lemon and honey:  Lemon has natural bleaching properties and helps in lightening the skin tone. Honey moisturizes the skin as well as makes it soft. To use it, extract the juice of a fresh lemon. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to it. Apply this mixture on your knees. Massage gently for 2-3 minutes, then leave it like this for 15-20 minutes and later wash it with lukewarm water. Do this 3 times a week and you will start seeing the difference in a few weeks. 

4. Turmeric and milk paste: Turmeric has antiseptic and skin lightening properties, while milk cleanses the skin and also moisturizes it. To make this paste, take 1 pinch of turmeric, add 1-2 teaspoons of raw milk to it and make a paste. Apply it on the knees and leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it with plain water. By doing this remedy daily, the result will gradually start showing. 

5. Coconut oil and lemon – Coconut oil deeply nourishes the skin and lemon lightens the tone, both are great for removing blackness of knees. To use it, squeeze half a lemon in 1 teaspoon coconut oil. Massage the knees with this mixture for 5 minutes and then wash after 15 minutes. Do this daily and the effect will start showing in a few days.
