Earlier this week, we got the shocking news that Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead at her apartment in Karachi’s Defence Phase VI. It was reported that her body was in an advanced stage of decomposition, and she might have passed away around two weeks ago. However, according to a report in Geo TV, the initial post-mortem report suggests that she had passed away eight to 10 months ago.
The post-mortem report prepared by Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed states that the body was severely decomposed and unrecognisable when it was recovered. The post-mortem findings reveal that her facial muscles were completely deteriorated, fingers and nails were reduced to bone, but no fractures were detected anywhere in the bones; brain matter was completely decomposed via autolysis, internal organs had turned black, brown-coloured insects were there in her body, and the head and spine remained intact, but no spinal cord.

However, DNA profiling and toxicology tests are underway, through which more details are expected.

The body of Humaira was found earlier this week at her apartment in Karachi after law enforcement personnel visited her to enforce a court-ordered eviction. But, as there was no response from inside, the police forced open the door, and her body was lying on the floor.
