Many types of birds will be seen flying in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary of Rajasthan. This sanctuary is 29 kilometers long. This place is included in UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. 366 species of birds can be seen here among the grasslands and tall green trees spread far and wide. Thousands of migratory birds are also seen roaming around the water here.
Gurugram of Haryana is considered an IT hub in the world, but apart from tall buildings, there is also a bird sanctuary here which is famous for its unique birds. There is Sultan Bird Sanctuary in Gurugram which is a perfect place for bird watching. This is a 40-kilometer long sanctuary where thousands of birds can be seen in the morning and evening. Ranganathittu in Karnataka is the biggest and most popular bird sanctuary in the state. This bird sanctuary is spread over 40 acres on the banks of the Cauvery River. It is also a small island. More than 3 lakh birds are seen here every year. If you like bird watching and are also a nature lover, then definitely visit this place with your camera and binoculars.
Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary is the oldest in the Jangalpatt district of Tamil Nadu. It was built in 1936. There is a freshwater lake here where more than 40 thousand birds migrate and reach here every year. Birds were hunted here during the British period. It is also the smallest bird sanctuary in India.
If you like the beach and also want to see birds, then plan a trip to the bird island of Andaman-Nicobar. This island is a little far from Port Blair. Here you will see many species of birds including the Ruddy Kingfisher, Bulbul, Owl, and backed Sunbird. All the stress goes away just by seeing these colorful birds.

Uttarakhand is a stronghold of birds. Due to the proximity of the Himalayas, many types of Himalayan birds can be seen here. Jim Corbett National Park may be famous for animals but bird watching tours are also conducted here. Apart from this, Valley of Flowers, Binsar and Nanda Devi National Park are also no less than a paradise for birds.
