Zee Entertainment Enterprises has hit a three year high in the Hindi movie broadcast segment, posting a 28.7% share in the Hindi movie cluster in Q2FY26.
Zee Cinema regained the top spot as the No. 1 Hindi movie channel in the 15+ HSM Urban market, led by blockbuster premieres including Jaat, Game Changer and Pushpa The Rule Part 2. Pushpa delivered the highest rated movie premiere of FY26 so far.
Free to Air channels Anmol Cinema and Zee Action recorded the highest reach across all channels and genres in Q2FY26, with over 116 million viewers each in the 15+ HSM Urban market.
Zee also maintained leadership across regional movie clusters. In Marathi, Zee Talkies, Zee Yuva and Zee Chitramandir commanded nearly 50% market share, aided by the strong premiere of Phullwanti. Zee Thirai, Zee Cinemalu and Zee Biskope ranked among the top three in the Tamil, Telugu and Bhojpuri markets respectively.
A company spokesperson said the growth reflects Zee’s content strategy anchored on new premieres, classic titles and data driven curation. Zee’s movie portfolio spans 22 channels in six languages and reached over 550 million viewers in September 2025.
The genre continues to attract the country’s top advertisers due to its scale and consistent performance. Zee’s library includes family dramas, action films and romantic classics such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Karan Arjun and Bobby. Hum Aapke Hain Koun alone has been viewed by 250 million people over the past five years.
