NEW DELHI: Competition Commission of India ( CCI) chief Ravneet Kaur has been given additional charge as chairperson of the National Financial Reporting Authority ( NFRA), people privy to the matter said.
The move came after Ajay Bhushan Prasad Pandey's term as the head of the audit regulator got over on March 31.
The additional charge will be for three months from April 1, 2025 or until the government appoints a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
In September 2021, Ashok Kumar Gupta, then chairman of the antitrust regulator, was also given the additional charge as the NFRA chief until Pandey's appointment.
Pandey, a former finance secretary, was appointed as the NFRA chairman in 2022 for a period of three years.
