PSEB class 12th result 2025 out on May 14: Here's how to access marksheets online and via SMS

PSEB Punjab Class 12th Result 2025: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will announce the Class 12th results today, 14 May 2025, after 3 PM. This has been confirmed through an official notice published on the board’s website, pseb.ac.in. The news brings relief to over 2.8 lakh students who had been waiting for the result date.

The PSEB Class 12 board exams took place from 13 February to 4 April 2025 across multiple exam centres in Punjab.

How to check PSEB Class 12th Result 2025 online:
Students can follow these simple steps to check their results:
  • Go to the official website: Visit pseb.ac.in.
  • Find the result link: On the homepage, click on “PSEB Class 12th Result 2025”.
  • Enter your details: Type in your roll number or full name (as per your admit card).
  • Submit the details: Click on the “Submit” button.
  • Check your result: Your result will appear on the screen. Check your marks and other details carefully.
  • Download and save: Download the provisional marksheet in PDF form and keep a copy for future use.
The provisional result will be accepted for college admissions and other academic needs until the official marksheet is issued by schools.

How to check the result through SMS:
For students who have poor internet access, PSEB has made it possible to get the result by SMS. Just type:
PB12 Roll Number and send it to 56767650. The result will be sent directly to the student’s phone.

What officials said:

Officials have said that the online result is provisional. Students will get the final hardcopy of their marksheet from their respective schools when it becomes available.

PSEB Class 12th Result: A look at last year

Last year, PSEB declared the Class 12th result on 30 April 2024. Around 3 lakh students had taken the exams, which ran from 13 February to 30 March 2024.

One of the top achievers was Ekam Preet Singh from BCS Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, who scored a perfect 100%. The overall pass percentage stood at 93.04%. Girls performed better than boys, with 95.74% of girls passing compared to 90.74% of boys.
