CUET UG DU Admission 2025: The result of CUET UG 2025 has been released. Now lakhs of students across the country have started preparing for admission in their favorite colleges. Especially getting admission in a prestigious institute like Delhi University (DU) is the dream of most students. But after the result, a common question arises in the mind of every candidate, on how many marks or percentage can one get admission in DU? Along with this, another important question is that which college had the lowest cutoff, so that the possibility of admission can be explored there.
Which college had the lowest cutoff last year?
If we look at the data of last year i.e. 2024, admission was given in some colleges of Delhi University even with relatively low marks. Especially for the reserved categories (SC/ST), a significant drop was seen in the cutoff. For example, in Sister Nivedita College, admission was done for SC category in BA (Hons) History even with just 336 marks. Similarly, in Bharti College, the cutoff for B.Sc (Hons) Botany in SC category was 374 marks.
CUET UG DU Admission 2025: Some colleges also had low cutoff for general category
Not only the reserved category, but the cutoff was relatively low in some colleges for the students of General Category as well. In institutes like Deshbandhu College, admission was available for B.Sc (Hons) and BA Program courses between 78–80 percentile. Apart from this, options like Moti Lal Nehru College, Shivaji College, and Arwachin College were also available for those students whose marks were slightly below the top cutoff level.
What could be the admission trend in 2025?
The admission process for CUET UG 2025 will also be done through the CSAS portal, where students will have to give preference of college and course. If your marks are 90 percentile or more, then you can think of DU's top colleges like SRCC, Hindu, Hansraj etc. But if your marks are between 75–85 percentile, then there can be a good possibility of admission in the colleges mentioned above.
CUET UG DU Admission 2025: Those with low marks can get these options
Students who have relatively low marks and still want to be a part of Delhi University have a higher chance of admission in institutions like Sister Nivedita College, Deshbandhu College, Bharti College. For girls, especially women's colleges have both seats and a safe environment, making them a better option.
Note: If any candidate is looking to take admission in any college of Delhi University, then definitely visit the official website once and see on how many marks and percentage one can get admission. There may be a change in the cutoff this time.
