More than 500 vacancies for Assistant Principal have been announced in Bihar. The official notification of recruitment has also been released. Applications will start online from August 18 on the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Assistant Principal Vacancy 2025: Eligibility
To apply for this government recruitment, candidates must have a PhD in the relevant engineering field. Apart from this, a first-class bachelor's and master's degree is also necessary. There should also be publication in 6 journals approved by SCI Journal / UGC / AICTE and a minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, including 2 years of post-PhD experience. Experience of the post of Assistant Professor in teaching/research/industry will be valid for the post of Pay Level-10.
Govt College Assistant Principal Salary: How much will you get?
Age Limit- The age limit of the candidates is a minimum of 30 years, and there is no maximum age limit as of 1st August 2025. The retirement age will be 65 years.
Salary- Pay Level-13A 1 Entry Salary Rs.- Rs.1,31,400
Selection Process- No written test will be taken for this recruitment. Merit will be prepared from the marks of research work, skill test, interview, etc.
Application Fee- General candidates will have to pay Rs 100, SC/ST candidates of Bihar will have to pay Rs 25, Divyangjan candidates will have to pay Rs 25, and candidates from other states will have to pay Rs 100 application fee to fill the form.
How to apply?
To apply for this recruitment in Bihar, candidates will first have to complete the OTR process on the website of the Bihar Public Service Commission https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
For this, candidates have to click on the New User Registration Button.
More than one OTR is not allowed. This may also result in the rejection of your application. There will be no provision for change and correction in the name of the candidate, father's name, mother's name, gender, Aadhaar number, and date of birth.
Candidates will also have to upload the necessary documents to apply, which will be uploaded from the DigiLocker account.
After completing this process, the candidates will have to log in and fill in their personal information, address information, other information, qualification-related information, experience-related information, upload a photo/signature, and profile lock to fill the form further.
After filling out the form completely, take the final printout of the application form after paying the application fee.
