NMDC has opened a significant opportunity for youth to fill 197 apprenticeship positions, including trade, graduate, and diploma apprenticeships. Candidates will be selected based solely on interviews, without any examination.
The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has announced a significant apprenticeship opportunity for youth. A total of 197 youth will receive training under this recruitment drive. This apprenticeship opportunity is for candidates who want to improve their career and future by learning from the industry.
NMDC is a leading government company in the country, where selected candidates will not only have the opportunity to learn on the job, but the experience will also greatly assist in securing a job. This apprenticeship will cover three categories: trade apprentices, graduate apprentices, and technician (diploma) apprentices.
Who Can Avail This Opportunity?
To join an apprenticeship, candidates must have completed their education in the relevant field. To become a trade apprentice, you must have an ITI certificate recognized by the NCVT or SCVT. Graduate apprentices require a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology. Technician (Diploma) apprentices require a diploma in engineering or technology. Candidates must be 16 years of age or older. Those under 16 are not eligible to apply.
How will the selection process be conducted?
NMDC is conducting walk-in interviews for these positions. This means that after applying, candidates must appear at the designated location on the scheduled date for the interview. The interview will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with the interview date for each trade being different. Importantly, selection will be based solely on the interview; there will be no written examination.
Registration Process
Candidates will be required to fill out a Google form on the day of the interview. They will then be required to appear at the designated location with all documents.
What documents should I bring?
An updated resume
A passport-sized photo
Class 10th marksheet/certificate
