MPPSC Job 2025: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official notification for the Food Safety Officer (FSO) Exam 2025. This recruitment is being done under the Department of Public Health and Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at mppsc.mp.gov.in from 11 July to 10 August 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 67 posts.

Who can apply
The candidate must have a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in the following subjects from a recognized university or institute:
Food Technology
Dairy Technology
Biotechnology
Oil Technology
Agricultural Science
Veterinary Science
Biochemistry
Microbiology
Chemistry
Medicine

Other Equivalent Qualifications
If a candidate has done any course other than the subjects mentioned above, which has been recognized by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) after the approval of the Central Government, then that candidate will also be considered eligible for this recruitment.

That is, if your degree is of a recognized course and it has been approved by FSSAI, then you can apply.

Know the age limit
The cut-off date for calculating the age limit has been fixed as 1 January 2026. The Commission has also clarified that only that date of birth will be valid for calculating the age, which is recorded in the 10th class (high school) mark sheet of the candidate.

Therefore, all the candidates are requested to enter the date of birth, name, and father's name recorded in the 10th mark sheet while filling out the online application form. The application can be invalidated if any discrepancy is found.

Application fee
SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 250, while a fee of Rs 500 will be applicable for all other categories.

Important instructions
Candidates will be given a chance to correct the application form. The correction process will start on July 16, 2025, and will be available till August 12, 2025, at noon. Error correction can be done only through online mode, for which a fee of Rs. 50 per session will be payable.

Any kind of change in the name will not be valid. Candidates should also keep in mind that any error in the application form cannot be corrected at the examination or interview level. Therefore, be very careful while filling out the form and if any error remains except the name, then make the correction within the correction period.
