According to the ' official website "the shirt features our Gothic-style Arsenal 'A' woven into it, allowing the iconic 'Victoria Concordia Crescit' crest to be integrated into the design, which notably featured on our classic 1990/91 league-winning home shirt".
It continued: "The shirt is complemented by all-white home shorts with red detailing, and red socks featuring the same gothic 'A' as the shirt, completed with the adidas signature Three Stripes."
A kit launch these days is not just showing off the players in their new shirts, but there is always a video to go with the launch, such is the force of the Internet and social media in the current climate.
And what was interesting was who Arsenal chose to launch the .
At the front and centre of the launch video is teenager Ethan Nwaneri. the 18-year-old became Arsenal's youngest ever player in the 2022/23 season, when coming on against Brentford aged just 15 years, five months and 28 days.
And he is the player first seen in the video launching the new home kit, showing just how highly thought of he is at the club.
Not only that, but there was a real Hale End feel about the start of the video.
Women's star Carlotte Wubben-Moy, who came through the Arsenal women's development team, was next to be seen in the video wearing the new shirt, with Myles Lewis-Skelly and Bukayo Saka the next to feature.
Four players to have been produced by Arsenal were chosen to be the launch stars for the new kit - a clear point that the academy means everything and that perhaps the teams will be built aropund these players for years to come.
